The AIA Northern Virginia Young Architects Forum (YAF) established the Pathway to Licensure Program to invest in the next generation of architects by supporting Associate AIA members on their journey to licensure. Through this program, the chapter helps offset the cost of the Architect Registration Examination® (ARE®) for an Associate AIA member who has demonstrated a commitment to the profession and to the AIA Northern Virginia community. The selected participant is eligible to receive reimbursement for the cost of up to six ARE® divisions (one exam per practice area), regardless of whether the exam is passed. Reimbursement is available for exams taken within one calendar year of selection.
