How can finding your voice change the trajectory of your career – and shape how you contribute to the design community?
Join AIA Northern Virginia Women in Architecture for an inspiring evening exploring the relationship between public speaking, professional confidence, leadership, and community impact.
Three accomplished women in the design industry will share personal stories about overcoming challenges related to public speaking and developing the confidence to speak up, present ideas, and take on visible leadership roles. The panelists will discuss how finding and developing their voices has helped them advance within their firms and pursue leadership opportunities in professional organizations, community initiatives, and other efforts that have positively impacted the design community.
Whether you are an emerging professional looking to build confidence, an established architect seeking new leadership opportunities, or simply interested in connecting with other women in the architecture and design community, this event offers an opportunity to be inspired, share experiences, exchange ideas, expand your network, and discover new ways to make an impact.
Following the panel discussion and Q&A, attendees are invited to continue the conversation during WIA’s year-end holiday celebration – an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, make new connections, celebrate the accomplishments of the past year, and look ahead to 2027.
Come find your voice. Meet someone new. Exchange ideas. Build connections. Lead with impact.
