Red Oak (Data HQ) transforms a once-utilitarian warehouse and adjoining brick house into a dynamic, light-filled headquarters for a software firm. Embracing the raw, industrial character of the original structure, the design features exposed wood and metal elements paired with crisp, minimalist finishes.

The open warehouse becomes the main workspace, enriched with collaborative lounges, a kitchen/dining area, a social zone with a golf simulator, and a break area with a wet bar. A mezzanine-level conference room sits beneath north-facing windows, filling the space with natural light and connecting function with atmosphere.

At the core of the design is a sculptural wood-and-metal staircase rising through a dramatic triple-height void, crowned by a skylight that bathes the interior in daylight. This central stair anchors the entire office—both spatially and symbolically—linking the old and new, the basement and upper floor, and all areas in between.

The result is a seamless fusion of industrial heritage and modern workspace design, transforming a heavy, enclosed structure into an open, uplifting environment for innovation and collaboration.
