Rebecca is an Associate Principal at ZGF Architects in Washington, DC with seven years of experience as a Project Architect working on multifamily and affordable housing, office towers, and mixed use projects. She has a passion for developing details, crafting documentation, and bringing design to life during construction. Most recently, Rebecca has been a Project Architect for the exterior design and detailing of the first phase of Amazon’s Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia and for the new Richard King Mellon Hall of Sciences building at Carnegie Mellon University. Rebecca is known as a leader within her project teams who enjoys efficiency, is very detail-oriented, and enjoys the collaboration process of building consensus in design decision-making.

Rebecca is a proud Hokie with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech and routinely returns to Blacksburg for football games. She is a Past Chair of AIA Northern Virginia’s Women in Architecture (WIA) committee and enjoys giving back to the architecture community and encouraging peers in the design industry. Rebecca is also a real estate investor, working passionately to build a portfolio of rental properties with the goal of creating a more free and flexible lifestyle.
