PechaKucha – The Japanese word for ‘chit-chat’
Join the Young Architects Forum in collaboration with the School Connections Committee for our inaugural PechaKucha Night! A PehcaKucha 20×20 is a presentation format designed by architects. Story tellers have 20 slides each with a single image, auto advancing to the next after 20 seconds, hence 20×20, for a total presentation time of 6 minutes and 40 seconds. Our event will be a fun, casual collection of stories told by architects and others who are architecture-tangent. Speakers are encouraged to tell stories about pleasant surprises, unexpected turns, and being adaptable through their career, projects, travel and life.
There will be 8 presentations over the 2 hour event, each fitting within a 15 minute block to allow for transitions between presentations, questions for the speakers and networking. If you are interested in telling a story, please contact YAF Committee Co-Chairs Tom and Ava ([email protected] / [email protected]) to have your presentation reviewed. We will not be accepting presentations from students, however, students are invited to attend.
