This panel discussion will explore how diversity, equity, and inclusion shape the architectural profession and the communities architects serve. Panelists will examine how representation across race, gender, culture, socioeconomic background, ability, and lived experience influences design outcomes, workplace culture, community engagement, and access to the profession.

Through personal perspectives, case studies, and professional insights, the discussion will address barriers to participation in architecture while highlighting strategies for fostering more equitable practices, project teams, and built environments. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how inclusive approaches can strengthen design excellence, advance public welfare, and contribute to a more representative and resilient architectural profession.

Panelists to include: Robert Tarbell, Nupoor Maduskar & Heber Munoz
