The AIA Northern Virginia Chapter is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2025!
With the start of the celebrations coming soon in the New Year, we’d like to kick off the year of celebration with a logo that inspires and commemorates the chapter’s longevity. The AIA Northern Virginia member who is the winning entry submitter will receive 2 complimentary tickets to our 50th Anniversary celebration party and recognition as the logo creator throughout the year.**
Logo Contest Details: Create a new eye-catching logo to be used for the upcoming AIA Northern Virginia 50th Anniversary Celebration!
Theme / Tagline: Elevating Architecture: 50 Years of Impact and Excellence
(tagline may or may not be incorporated in the logo itself)
Contest Rules:
1. You must be a member of AIA Northern Virginia. (Any member type).
2. A member may submit up to 5 entries.
3. We reserve the right to work with the logo creator to make minor edits, or the creator can provide and release the source file and content to allow for minor modifications by staff.
Technical Requirements: Logo must be a square shaped, high-resolution format. This logo will be used in social media posts, event signage, and potentially event memorabilia, so make sure the logo is legible at a minimum size of 2″ x 2″ square. The new logo can be separate from our standard logo, but used in conjunction with it OR it can incorporate our standard logo. Please submit the following files:
– Adobe Illustrator / scalable vector file (EPS)
– JPG version of minimum 1200X1200 pixels
– A sketch/image of how the new logo should be used in conjunction with our standard logo if it is not obvious (JPG)
** Winning entry submitter will be recognized as the logo creator.
