About Us
The Community Service Committee assists local community service groups, primarily functioning through Canstruction®, the creation of larger structures made of individual cans of food which are then donated to a Northern Virginia food pantry. Canstruction is a global non-profit charity that organizes competitions where participants design and build structures made entirely from full cans of food. It combines creativity, team building, and community service to alleviate hunger, and is a unique way to contribute to local communities while also fostering innovation and design skills.
