Zaira is a seasoned architect with a diverse portfolio encompassing residential, commercial, and institutional projects. She firmly believes in the transformative power of design to enrich communities through the creation of inclusive, accessible, and visually captivating spaces. With a Master’s degree in Urban Design and a strong commitment to sustainable practices, Zaira is deeply passionate about enhancing the built environment to positively impact people’s lives. She currently serves on the City of Alexandria Urban Design Advisory Committee.

For the past three years, Zaira has served as chair of the AIA Northern Virginia Chapter Committee on Architecture for Education. Now, she aspires to further contribute to the chapter and serve its membership by seeking a position on the Board of Directors. With her expertise and dedication to creating impactful and sustainable designs, Zaira is committed to advancing the goals and mission of the AIA North Virginia Chapter.
