Allie Ditzel is an architect and designer in Washington, DC. Her project experience includes Metrorail/Transportation, Commercial, Residential, Civic, Industrial, Religious, Mixed-Use, and Campus Planning. Allie is engaged from initial, big-picture concept design and early-phase scoping and programming straight through to the phases of construction documentation and administration. She has been recognized for her ability to approach every challenge with a balance of creativity, pragmatism, and unfailing optimism.

Allie has served in multiple AIA roles throughout her career. She began as her chapter AIAS president in 2011, participating in Virginia’s ELA program during this time. Additional roles have been serving as nationally as the Young Architect Regional Director of the Virginias (2019-2021), for the state on Virginia’s Education Advisory Council (2021-2022), and locally as an AIA Nova ARE Prep Teacher (2018-2022). She is known for her love of learning and passion for elevating the voices of emerging professions.
