Step inside one of the most significant mixed-use developments in the region with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of Metropolitan Park, home to the first phase of Amazon’s HQ2 in Arlington. Spanning more than two million square feet, this expansive campus weaves together office, retail, structured parking, outdoor terraces, and vibrant public park space into a cohesive urban environment.

Participants will experience the project beyond the finished façade, gaining a deeper understanding of how design vision translates into built form at scale. Through guided, on-site discussions, the project team will unpack the complexities of construction sequencing, material selection, and real-time problem-solving required to deliver a fast-paced, high-profile development.

This tour also offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from the women who helped lead both the design and construction efforts, highlighting their roles, perspectives, and impact on shaping the project. From navigating stakeholder coordination to advancing inclusive leadership on large-scale projects, their insights will add a meaningful dimension to the experience.

Attendees will leave with a stronger appreciation for how major mixed-use developments are thoughtfully integrated into their surrounding communities balancing technical execution, design excellence, and public engagement.

Please note that capacity for this event is 20 individuals.
