Is Fellowship a mystery to you? Have you been considering it for some time but don’t know where to start? Are you just starting out in your career and recognizing the importance of AIA in your professional life?

Presented by our Fellows Committee, participants will learn about submission requirements for AIA Fellowship. Strategies for obtaining and documenting experience, the online submission process, resources, and roles and responsibilities for you and your nomination team will be discussed. This session is recommended for members who would like to submit for the Class of 2026, those who are considering submitting sometime in the future, and those considering to be a sponsor for a nominee.

Learning Objectives:
– Review the submission process for Fellowship and identify due dates and changes to submittal requirements.
– Review examples of successful nominations and share best practices for crafting submissions.
– Discuss and review the jury process and assess judgement criteria.
– Analyze and evaluate FAIA statistics, including for Virginia candidates.
