
The AIA Northern Virginia (NoVA) Chapter is calling for nominations for the 2026 AIA Fellowship program. This prestigious recognition celebrates architects who have made significant contributions to architecture and society while maintaining a high standard of excellence in the profession.
Deadline for Nominations: April 11, 2025, by 5:00 PM
The AIA Fellowship program not only honors individuals for their accomplishments but also serves to elevate them as role models within the profession. If you’re interested in nominating a candidate, here’s a quick rundown of the process:
- Eligibility: Architect members who have been in good standing for at least 10 years.
- Nominations: Candidates can be nominated by their chapter, or through a petition signed by five Fellows or ten AIA members.
- Sponsorship: Each nominee must be sponsored by either a FAIA or AIA member, who will submit a one-page letter of introduction outlining the candidate’s qualifications.
- Submission: Completed nominations, including a summary document PDF and sponsor letters, must be sent to the AIA NoVA Fellows Committee Co-Chairs, Manoj Dalaya, FAIA, and Kevin Sneed, FAIA, via email at [email protected] by 5:00 PM on April 11, 2025.
