The Legislative and Government Affairs Committee (LGA) serves as a vital liaison between AIA Northern Virginia (AIA NoVA) and local governments throughout the region. Its efforts focus on legislative and regulatory issues that affect architecture, planning, and the built environment, including zoning, building codes, permitting processes, project entitlements, and long-range planning initiatives.
