We’re excited to announce the launch of the Firm Ambassador Program, a new initiative designed to strengthen connections between AIA Northern Virginia and the architecture firms where our members work. This effort aims to build a more responsive, informed, and engaged professional community by creating direct lines of communication between the chapter and our region’s firms.
For each firm with existing AIA Northern Virginia members, we’re seeking one or more individuals to serve as Firm Ambassadors. Ambassadors will act as a vital link—sharing their firm’s successes and challenges, while also helping to disseminate news, events, and resources from AIA NoVA. In turn, this connection helps ensure that the chapter’s work remains grounded in the realities of day-to-day practice and aligned with the needs of our local firms.
The goals of the Firm Ambassador Program are threefold:
- Establish a network of Firm Ambassadors across all firms with existing AIA NoVA members.
- Distribute timely information on programs, opportunities, and initiatives that Ambassadors can share with colleagues—members and non-members alike.
- Create a feedback loop for Ambassadors to offer insights, identify emerging challenges, and celebrate accomplishments from within their firms.
Whether you’re passionate about professional development, fostering community, or simply want to stay better connected, we’d love to have you involved! The good news is we anticipate the commitment only taking about an hour per month. If you’re interested in becoming a Firm Ambassador, please reach out to us via email at [email protected] —we look forward to hearing from you!
