Women in Architecture Lecture Series
In collaboration with AIA Diversity and Inclusion Council, Northern Virginia Chapter's Women in Architecture Committee (AIA|NOVA WIA) and Washington DC Chapter of National Organization of Minority Architects (DCNOMA), the Women in Architecture Series is a three part series that focuses on aspects not discussed among women in the architectural profession. For the third consecutive year, the extremely successful DC Metropolitan area WIA Series reached a diverse spectrum of women (and others) from across the U.S. in all aspects of the profession – students, emerging professionals, new licensees, seasoned professionals and those on the cusp of retirement. This event took place over the course of three weeks March 2015 in celebration of Women's history month.

The Women in Architecture Series seeks to educate the emerging woman professional. For the third installment, the series focused on how to retain women and analysis of the frustrations this profession produces.
