January 25

Organized by the National Building Museum.

Explore STABLE, a former horse stable for the Nabisco cookie company in D.C.'s Eckington neighborhood, which has been converted to 21 below market-rate, non-living studio spaces for visual artists. STABLE co-founders Caitlin Teal Price, Tim Doud, and Linn Meyers, along with Gregory Kearley, principal, Inscape Studio, show how the unique spatial needs of artists influenced the design of the studios and shared workroom within the century-old building.

Free for museum members; $35 non-members. Registration begins December 16 at 10:00a by calling 202-272-2448 x3304 and will be assigned based on space availability. On-site registration is not available.
