NCARB Policy Changes
Posted Tuesday, March 24

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) has updated some of its testing policies for those who are currently studying for or planning to take the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) in the coming months.

At this time, all Prometric testing centers are closed and NCARB has waived rescheduling fees through the end of April so that test takers can reschedule their existing exam appointments. NCARB has also granted a 90-day extension to individuals who have received a valid passing exam score on any of the six divisions of the ARE, aiming to ease the organization's "rolling clock" policy.
