AIA Northern Virginia
Architecture Week - Cleveland Park Library
Posted Monday, April 9

Architecture Week is held every April as part of the American Institute of Architect’s nationwide celebration of our built environment. AIA chapters all over the country offer a variety of lectures, tours and activities geared towards architects and the public alike during this week. The AIA Northern Virginia Architecture Weeks runs from April 8-14.

Today, Monday, April 9, students, architects and the public are invited to join staff from Perkins Eastman Architects as they discuss their design for the new Cleveland Park Library in Washington, DC, the city’s second most used library with one of the DC Public Library’s largest collections.

This presentation takes place at Virginia Tech’s Washington Alexandria Architecture Center where degrees are offered in Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning. This event presents a good opportunity for local high school students to visit a local university.

On the Boards – Cleveland Park Library
