AIA Northern Virginia Architecture Week Starts Today
Posted Sunday, April 8

Architecture Week is held every April as part of the American Institute of Architect’s nationwide celebration of our built environment. AIA chapters all over the country offer a variety of lectures, tours and activities geared towards architects and the public alike during this week. The AIA Northern Virginia Architecture Weeks runs from April 8-14.

Today, Sunday, April 8 offers our very popular architect-led Walking Tour of Old Town Alexandria and a lecture on Architecture, Design and Cultural Space at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria. There is also an exhibit on award-winning buildings designed by local architects opening at the Torpedo Factory and on display all week.
