Job Description

GBR Architects has an opening for a Recent Architectural Graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture and 1 - 3 years professional experience. We require a self-motivated, well-organized person who can work collaboratively with staff at all levels of the firm. The Architectural Designer / Drafter is responsible for the production of construction documents on REVIT under the supervision of the Project Coordinators and Principal.  Additionally, the Architectural Designer / Drafter assists other GBR Staff on other office related tasks that include preparing marketing materials in response to RFPs and project related tasks that may include participating in on-site assessments of existing buildings; assisting Senior staff on architectural concept designs and related graphic presentations; working out architectural details and assisting with preparation of construction drawings.

Qualifications

• Strong design, graphic and communication skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Photoshop
• 3D rendering and visualization skills including any of the following: SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, etc.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• US Citizen or holder of a permanent resident card “green card” granted by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
