Job Description

GBR Architects has an opening for an Architectural Student who is in a Master’s Program, has a minimum of 12 months experience working in an architect’s office and is interested in part-time work. We require a person who is organized, self-motivated and able to work collaboratively with staff at all levels of the firm. Duties include preparing marketing materials in response to RFPs. Project related tasks include participating in on-site assessments of existing buildings; creating architectural design concepts and related graphic presentations; developing architectural details and assisting with preparation of construction drawings.

GBR Architects has an opening for a Recent Architectural Graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture and 1 - 3 years professional experience.  We require a person who is organized, self-motivated and able to work collaboratively with staff at all levels of the firm. Duties include preparing marketing materials in response to RFPs. Project related tasks include participating in on-site assessments of existing buildings; creating architectural design concepts and related graphic presentations; developing architectural details and assisting with preparation of construction drawings.

Job Description

GBR Architects has an opening for a Graduate Architect with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and 3 - 5 years professional experience.  We require a person who is organized, self-motivated and able to work collaboratively with staff at all levels of the firm. Responsibilities include existing facility assessment, assisting the project manager with development of programmatic requirements, and the investigation, development and evaluation of design solutions. Design tasks also include preparation of 3D sketches and other presentation materials to explain the design solutions to clients. Project documentation duties involve materials research, sketching of architectural details for inclusion in the construction drawings and preparation of outline specifications.  There will be opportunity for on-site construction observation.

Job Description

GBR Architects has an opening for a Graduate Architect with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and 5 - 8 years professional experience.  We require a person who is organized, self-motivated and able to work collaboratively with staff at all levels of the firm. Responsibilities include working our clients to develop their programmatic requirements; independent investigation, development and evaluation of design solutions; and preparation of 3D renderings for presentation to clients. Tasks also include coordination of consultants, assisting the project manager with preparation of construction drawings/specifications and construction administration services.
