Principal Architect and Partner Position

We are looking for a graduate architect, who is 3 to 5 years’ since graduation, successfully completed the ARE and received their first professional Architectural license. Someone who is self-directed, motivated and has the internal drive to shed the role of Intern Architect and become a Principal of their own firm. We are offering an opportunity to make that jump to firm ownership while helping assist with ongoing projects in our office. You will be able to develop and nurture your own client’s while simultaneously be mentored on what it takes to own and manger your own firm and to assist you in fulfilling your dream.

Here is an opportunity to take that step, lower your start-up cost exposure, earn an income while expanding your client base and receive mentoring from a seasoned Architect with 40 years’ experience in the Architectural, Construction and Commercial Real Estate Development industry. An Architect who is well respected in the industry for providing excellent service with a substantial client base. We currently have a wide variety of commercial and residential projects located in several states across the country. The firm Principal is looking to pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation with the potential to pass the firm ownership over after a period.

Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum; Licensed Architect,
• NCARB Certificate recommended,
• Expertise in AutoCAD minimum, as well MS Office 365 platforms,
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills,
• Outgoing personality, comfortable with meeting new people and ability to sell yourself,
• Strong leadership, client management and project coordination skills,
• Understanding of how projects are developed from Concept Design thru Construction Administration,
• Motivated toward developing client relationships, negotiating contracts, managing business operations and eventually owning your own Architectural practice.

Selection of a candidate is dependent upon your motivation, personality, maturity and drive. Your experience to date is also a consideration but less important.
