We are seeking a full-time Senior Project Architect to join our creative, fun, and growing team!

Convene Architecture is a residential architecture firm located in Alexandria, VA, with a track record of exceptional designs and thoughtful details. We listen to our clients throughout the process and they consistently tell us their new and redesigned homes “are so much more than they ever imagined.”

We have a talented team of six people. We collaborate, ask questions, brainstorm, and learn together. We have an office ethos that fosters both high-level designs and work-life balance. We are currently 100% remote, and are innovative in our use of technology and systems for collaborating.

We are looking for a Senior Project Architect who brings an elevated and thoughtful design approach to their work. We have exciting and challenging projects on the boards, in a range of styles, and are looking for someone to join our team and help us lead and shape our expanding business!

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate:

• Has custom, single-family residential architecture experience
• Is talented, curious, collaborative, and flexible
• Is passionate about creating detailed Construction and Permit Documents and understands the connection between these deliverables and our elevated design work
• Enjoys overseeing the work of others, and would be excited to help mentor our team
• Is proficient using AutoCAD and Sketchup
• Has a M.Arch degree and is a registered architect (or on the path to licensure)
