Experience Level: Open to talented individuals with a strong foundation in residential architectural design and proficiency in a current-version CAD software platform.

Your Role:
 As an Architectural Designer, you will support our design and production teams in bringing residential projects from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing field measurements and verifications for plans.
• Producing accurate and detailed design drawings, including existing, schematic, bid, permit, and construction sets, using CAD software.
• Coordinating directly with clients, vendors, and team members for scheduling meetings, site measurements, and project requirements.
• Development and editing of design and construction drawings and documents throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engaging clients in design discussions, ensuring projects meet their needs and expectations.
• Coordinating with structural, civil, and geotechnical engineers, and interior designers, as required, to finalize construction documents and design decisions.
• Monitoring project developments for any cost implications due to design changes, and coordinating with estimators as necessary.
• Ensuring all project documentation complies with local codes and guidelines.

Qualifications

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Is proficient in CAD software and 3D modeling, with 3-5 years of professional experience preferred. ArchiCAD experience is a plus, but not required.
• Holds a degree in Architecture or a design-related field.
• Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and design skills.
• Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exhibits excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor, with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Has excellent organizational skills and can manage work towards various parallel project deadlines
• Is passionate about residential design and construction and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Has a growth mindset, and is interested in opportunities for professional growth and development.

Preferred Skills:

• Relevant residential construction with design/ build experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and construction project management systems like BuilderTrend, Procure, or similar.
• Knowledge of residential building codes and ability to research and apply code requirements to projects.
