Purses For a Purpose! Drive Begins
October 2

The AIA NoVA Women In Architecture (WIA) Committee will be conducting its second annual collection drive for a local branch of a non-profit group, Purses For A Purpose.   The organization collects donated purses, handbags, and backpacks and fills them with travel-sized toiletries to deliver to homeless women in select cities across the nation.

Several firms have volunteered to collect gently used medium-sized purses and new travel-sized toiletries from Monday, October 2 to Friday, November 3.  At the end of the collection, we will compile the donated items during a WIA gathering on Saturday, November 4.  Time and Location for the gathering are TBD and more information will be provided later.

If you are interested in coordinating a collection for your firm, or if you have any questions, email Sunny Carroll or Ridhi Sawhney.  Or, if you would like to donate any items, please contact one of the closest participating firms (listed below) near you to arrange a drop off.
