Every year AIA NoVA’s Young Architects Forum (YAF) finances the costs for the Architect Registration Examination® (ARE®) through a scholarship program developed to support testing and encourage young architects to get licensed. This scholarship is intended to recognize a NoVA Associate AIA member who has made significant contributions to the profession at an early stage in their career and to encourage their pursuit of licensure. The recipient will be recognized at the chapter’s Autumn Social on October 18.
SELECTION PROCESS
One candidate will be selected to receive financial support to cover the costs of the six tests of the ARE®, whether each test is passed or not. Valid for one calendar year, the chapter will reimburse the recipient’s testing fees as each test is taken.
NEW THIS YEAR: The recipient will also get to attend the AIA NoVA 2024 ARE® Prep Study Series for FREE.
