Description
This seminar will examine the Uncoupling Principle, which is now recognized in the Tile Council of America's 2019 Handbook for Ceramic Tile Installation as well as by the Terrazzo Tile & Marble Association of Canada (TTMAC).
Review the history behind the Uncoupling Principle and examine the evolution of tile setting techniques, along with the benefits and limitations of each stage of development.
The individual functions that are inherent to an uncoupling system will be discussed and the major implications for tile and stone installations revealed.
