AIA Northern Virginia Celebrates Architecture Month - POSTPONED
April 1

Architecture Month has been postponed.

April 1-30

For architecture buffs, Architecture Month presents a wealth of public activities planned by local architects, including building tours, lectures, exhibits, presentations, and family activities throughout the month of April.

Enjoy a construction tour of National Airport, experience in-depth walking tours of both historic Old Town Alexandria and Waterford, participate in a sketching competition, view an exhibit of award-winning buildings designed by local architects, and enjoy an exclusive architecture-focused tour of historic Oatlands.

Architecture Month is organized by AIA Northern Virginia every April as part of the American Institute of Architect’s nationwide celebration of our built environment. The Chapter plans numerous public events and activities throughout the metro area during April. Most events are offered free of charge, although some have limited space and required registration, and provide continuing education credits for architects.
