Designing Restrooms for Sustainable Operation
This course reviews approaches architects can use to achieve their overall sustainability goals while also maintaining their aesthetic vision and satisfying their clients’ economic objectives.

● Common sources of costly, non-sustainable restroom operation and related solutions
● How to describe the relationship between sustainable operation and the preservation of the designer’s aesthetic vision

Specifying Code-Compliant Toilet Partitions
This course will provide up-to-date information relative to selecting and specifying code-compliant toilet partitions for commercial restrooms.

● Discuss the update of toilet partition material fire code compliance.
● Explain how to select the most appropriate toilet partition material, hardware and mounting configuration based on building type.
● Describe three ADA accessible toilet compartment layouts.
● Identify guidelines for writing toilet compartment specifications.
