ARE Structural Systems Seminar

March 31 through April 2, 2017

Jacobs, 1100 North Glebe Road, Suite 500, Arlington, VA 22201. Close to Ballston-MU Metro Station, Orange Line. Paid parking is available in the building. (Directions: Metro/Ped | Car). Registration begins at 7:30a on Friday, and breakfast is available from 7:30a to 8:00a, when classes begin. Timeliness is essential as it is a secured building and you will need to be escorted up the elevator.

David J. Thaddeus, AIA has taught architectural structures for over twenty-five years and is currently a professor at the School of Architecture at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is nationally recognized for his intensive, effective review workshops for the Structural Systems portion of the ARE. In three information packed days, Professor Thaddeus will prepare candidates so they are able to fully understand the material and walk into the Structural Systems exam with confidence. General Pricing: $340 (AIA Virginia Member); $370 (AIA Member), $410 (Non-Member). Price of the seminar includes registration, study material, mock exams, and coffee, breakfast and lunch all three days. Additional information about the seminar will be made available after registration has been received.


Advance registration is required by March 24 at 6:00p though the seminar frequently sells out. Any cancellations must be made in writing and received at AIA Northern Virginia at least 10 days prior to the start of the seminar and no more than 60 days after payment was made in order to receive a refund.
